Beach Trip

Carlisle had a fantastic week at the beach with his second cousins, Finley and Roan. It is almost impossible to try and get them all three in a picture! Carlisle had a blast swimming in the pool, playing in the sand and ocean, and staying up late! Here are the pictures.

Carlisle and Finley

Carlisle and Finley kissing:

Very excited about the kiss!

Carlisle getting a hug from Roan.

Playing on the beach- the kids entertained themselves with 3 shovels, 3 buckets, and a wagon:

Playing with bubbles. Whoever invented the "no spill" bubbles is a genius. (picture is bad b/c my lens kept fogging due to the humidity)

The first of many attempts to get all three kids to smile in one picture at the same time (and I never succeeded):

Double high fives:

Latest Happenings

Carlisle has been busy. He had his end of the year school performance at school. The kids did a song with sign language. He was precious. He then went boating with Henry and has spent lots of time playing in the water. We also spent a couple of days at the beach with Nana and Papa. I think he is going to be a water baby as he loves the water and tries to "swim" when in the water. He starts swim lessons in about a week and I am looking forward to it. His vocabulary has expanded tons! He can say lots of words and is putting two and three words together. His favorites might be "no mamma" and "no dadda". Here are the pictures:

Driving the boat with Henry. The boys did NOT like the life jackets, but thankfully got used to them:

Having a snack with daddy.

After a couple of hours on the boat, Carlisle fell sound asleep.

Carlisle's class went to the zoo. This was the only picture I got of him. He loved seeing the animals, but called most of them dogs:

My Big Boy!

Attached is a picture of Carlisle from Ward's birthday party. Carlisle will no longer stop and let you take a photo of him, so I was delighted to receive this photo from a friend. Carlisle is very independent. His favorite activities are playing golf, hitting the T-ball, and throwing balls and chasing after them. He is talking more and more and its hard for me to remember all of the words he can now say. His newest that come to mind are: socks, shoes, oh no, me, yanni, josh, nana, papa, DJ, shirt, spoon, touchdown, two, ten, belly, nose, and score. I also think he tried to say Carlisle last night.
